    Hi All,

I guess mainly aimed at Kevin really.

How are the developments on the EVO6 going, i.e. the phase 2 work ? Any results yet ?

If MS's car at Cadwell was anything to go by, I'm really interested. (But don't let the GT4 boys know )

    Cheers

    Hi Ian

Progress is good but the real problem is where to set the BHP and Torque figures in relation to the strength of rods and pistons. Things like injector duties are also a surprise as they are close to max at approx 330 bhp, which begs the question how others are doing 360/380 on std injectors. For any serious power it will have to be a drop of compression ratio and stronger rods, so it's engine out and start work at the end of the summer ( what bloody summer ).
See you at an event soon and I can give you some more details there.

    Regards Kevin

    Kevin,

Thanks for the update, I read you loud and clear on the summer thing

Kevin, you and I know that a few EVO power claims are up there with the Cossie and Scooby claims and would suggest that some of these 360/380 claims on std. injectors is pure tosh.

Sounds like interesting work is ahead, just in time for winter

    Cheers

    Ian

    Cool

    Injectors maxed out ?

Simple... whack up the fuel pressure.. fit an aftermarket FPR.

Bingo.. more fuel for the same duty cycle... but dont go crazy..... or u stuff the seals.... the spray pattern goes poop.. the injectors dont tend to work too good.

Oh..you might find u will need a new pump ?
