Whilst driving along I have been monitoring the percentage of the injectors.

At full throttle, the injectors are showing about 85/86% at 6,500rpm in forth.

Do I now need to upgrade them?

Thanks Dan

Danny,

the figures you are getting indicate the "perfect" injector duty cycle. I get something like 90+% post 6500 rpm. Not good!
What boost, ECU, turbo and injectors are you running out of curiousity ?

Danny,

You should aim to have no more than about 85% at the rev limiter, give the poor littlebeasties a chance to cool down inbetween pulses http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

You're pretty close... volumetric efficiency starts falling off above 6500 anyway, so although the duty would go up, tha fact that you need less fuel compensates.

I was OK up to about 1.2 bar at 7000RPM on the grey injectors, which was good for about 300BHP, beyond that you need more pressure or bigger injectors.

Hope this helps,

Pat.
