Warren,

Is it true that WRC cars have a totally different air inlet to the turbo. I believe that it is some sort of an angled flow technology where the standard inlet hose from air filter to turbo is totally by-passed and the turbo is now tilted at an angle. Share your comments ??

Howdy

The turbo is twisted not tilted... this is to allow a direct path from the filter to the turbo, such that it doesnt go under the manifold - basically to minimise the inlet path.. nothing fancy.

A few companies offer this design.. mainly Jap ones.... I was tempted to do this... but I already had a down pipe and headers... Who knows.. I might still do it.
