Link to live web cam added, was there for the Drag racing, don't know if it is running all day, but will allow you to see if they are running as per timetable.
Seems they can switch to other cams around the circuit at any time.

Will tis timing only be working on Sunday ?

Will tis timing only be working on Sunday ?

It seems to be that way, the locals are saying there is a feed at the circuit, but no live streaming today, Lee is hitting the High 1'.50" in the first session, they say a perfect lap would be in the low 1'.40`s, so seems all is going to plan!!!

That's pretty good, that should put him in the Extreme class, unless we see a bit of sand bagging, so he's not up against the 1'.40's boys

Sure the team will be working hard to give Lee the best possible chance, even if they have to tweak his B***'s more than once. ;)

Well I'm sure if anyone is capable of giving Lee a "tweak", it's Steven ;)

That time would have put him in the extreme class (< 1`58") in Dutch Time Attack, he is going well, Gareth has set out his stall with a low 1`50"

Is it right they get one chance at a quick lap that's it?!?

Is it right they get one chance at a quick lap that's it?!?

Yep in the final its as you say,

1 Outlap

1 Hotlap

1 Inlap

So track postion/time of day/air temp/track temp/ect ect all come into play

Full results

Congratulations to Gareth Lloyd and the SVA Imports Mitsubishi Evo - the new 2013 European Time Attack Champions!

They won in 1:44.583 setting a new lap record!

After running in low boost all day, they turned on the Nitrous Oxide injection, Anti-lag and upped the boost to around 2.5 bar for maximum power!

Sadly, Janne Niska's Impreza suffered an engine fire on his hot lap. We'll never know if he could have improved his time from Qualifying. (1.46)

4WD
Gareth Lloyd - Mitsubishi Evo 6 RS 1:44.583
Lee Bullen - Subaru Impreza 1:53.522
Peka Dmitriy - Mitsubishi Evo 1:56.878
Janne Niska - Subaru Impreza DNF

Congratulations to experienced racer Cor Euser, who used his track knowledge to full effect, blowing away the competition in his Lotus Evora

RWD
Cor Euser - Lotus Evora - 1:50.397
Mike Cantelo - Vauxhall VX220 1:54.546
Simon Deaton - Porsche Cup 911 1:55.696
Lennard Wanders - Nissan 350Z 2:03.281
Kevin Go - Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R DNF
Bruce Morris - Nissan Skyline R33 DNF

The FWD Class was won by the very quick Seat Leon driven by Sami Sivonen. BTCC driver Tom Onslow Cole pulled out of his final run in the VW Golf, while Martijn Lakerveld became the first diesel driver at the European Time Attack Masters

FWD
Sami Sivonen - Seat Leon 1:52.592
Ronald Winters - VW Golf Mk1 1:57.874
Kenny Jacobs - Renault Megane 2:02.518
Martijn Lakerveld - Seat Ibiza TDI 2:02.872
Tom Onslow Cole - VW Golf GTI DNF

Finally, the N/A Class featured an exciting battle between the DC5 Integra of Ronald Gosens and the KP61 Toyota Starlet of Mikko Kataja. It was even closer than we expected! Congratulations to Ronald, as he just beat Mikko to win - The little Starlet was bouncing off the rev limiter at 9,100rpm for most of the main straight!

NA
Ronald Gosens - DC5 Honda Integra Type-R 2:00.397
Mikko Kataja - Toyota Starlet 2:00.489
Martin Engel - Honda Civic 2:06.800
Alex De Jonge - Opel Corsa A (Vauxhall Nova) DNF

CXheers everyone, got off the ferry this morning, went to Stevens to swap car on to my trailer and a bit of unpacking and then came straight to work....... totally knackered!! Best weekend ever... best track I have ever driven by a mile, what a circuit this is!!

At the start of the weekend there were a few 4wd cars but sadly a few broke, however my own target was against Gareth based on our Oulton park times, also had a chat with someone about another chap who had been there with a good car so had an idea of what to aim for, was hoping for a 1:55, to get down to 1:53 was great, but the car had more in it... a lot more. I am certain with a full trackday we could have been in the 1:49s possibly? The car was brilliant..... as so were the team of guys there helping.

Brilliant weekend and hopefully a couple of you guys will join us next year ;)
