Hi All,

Due to the change in rules and regs of Time Attack

I'm after a few parts for my car so its 'legal' for scrutineering at Time Attack.

I'm gauging interest in peoples requirements for various products. I've chose Sabelt as they do all this stuff. So if you have a genuine interest in anything search the site http://www.sabelt.co.uk/index.htm
Then post up with your name and what you're interested in, plus sizes/colours etc and a 20-25% discount should be achievable (postage and quantity depending). Actual discount will be calculated if and when enough interest is reached.

22.5% DISCOUNT CONFIRMED WITH SUPPLIERS

Crutch straps bought seperately are not FIA aproved and would fail scrutineering at an FIA event. You have to buy a matched harness set with the same date stamp. Just a heads up incase you intended to enter some other events. smile.gif

I thought I'd ask around to see what people want, as Sabelt do a range of safety eqpt seems sensible to stick with them. I'm sure other discounts are available from other manufacturers but is easier to stick with one, and possibly bigger discounts.

Your OEM seat will be fine, as it will take a 4 point harness!

Duncan Graham
8th January 2008, 09:03
but you may want to change for a lighter aftermarket one :D

My Cobra Imola is a very tight fit with a 36" (Chubster  ) waist.

If I get another its going to be a GT version.

For your info I've edited top post with who is interested in what currently.

Cheers

The regs seem to be fairly flexible at the moment so will hold off on any additional elements until the dust settles.

Hopefully the scrutineers arent overly zealous at the first event

Duncan Graham

Some of these rules (although safety in mind) seem to be getting away from road cars which many of us enter and the whole point of club class in the 1st place when not many would have been able to afford the spec of a pro vehicle.

Dill,

Clarifying my order now that i've realised it's a Sabelt (not Sparco  ) GB and have had a chance to look at their site.

The sabelt stuff is top notch.

All these group buys, just after i bought everything from DT.

Thankfully i got 15% off, which was good enough for me.

Not a prob Dill. Way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

As a tip, i got the safety devices 4l plumbed in electrical systme direct from spa and saved over £90 from buying elsewhere i could see. Spa's prices were including vat AND delivery!

I have recently bought 2 seats, 2 harneses, fire system, towing eyes, steering wheel, harness pads, seat rails, etc, etc !!!

Russell With the current amount of interest it doesn't look like this can done with the Sabelt dealer.

Don't worry I have a back up plan offering a mix of suppliers resulting more discount on some products and less on others
PM's to follow with the final solution.

Hi All,

Doesnít look like enough interest for the Sabelt stuff but Iíve sorted out some other discounts and PMíd everyone.

If you can get back to me whether you want similar gear (but from different manufacturers). Let me know either way.

If youíre reading this and on the list at the top and havenít recived a PM, then let me know too.

Cheers

These are the only people I know who have interest in a GB still

Me(Dill)
Neil (WRX_2003)
Carl Davey

The Sabelt supplier wanted more people so I'm looking elsewhere for other suppliers, possibly still with some Sabelt gear, just not all of it. If you're still interested but not on this list of 3, please inform me.

Cheers
Dill
