Hi David, thanks, no probs about the filters... off season now, yes I still do want. I have spoken to Roger at CC, only from a technical perspective, not discussed pricing.

Take it easy Dude.. lifes to short smile.gif

Thanks Dave. Are they at all negotiable on price ?

18th November 2006, 09:58
Not really!

Unless you take quantity.. say you were supposed to be in the original group buy, but you had a kid so hadnt been in touch!!!

Now David that would be stretching the truth a little, the wee lass already has a heavy burden to carry as I blame her fairly and squarly for losing the Scottish Sprint Championship !! Don't want to milk it too much.

Being born on race day..who ever heard of it !!!!!

Profiled T45, no time to fanny about making fishmouths. I'm sure I'll have to do a bit of tweeking though.

22nd November 2006, 19:13
I am sure you will!

Drop me a line if you need any advice, as I have lots of pictures and can recommend the better ways to do it.

23rd November 2006, 12:14
and as do I!

I didnt have to fanny around grinding to make tubes fit though, just cut the correct angles.

If you want some pics, Ill zip em up and send em.

Know of him Alan, never met him.

24th November 2006, 16:42
You dont need a spit to fit the cage, just make sure you holesaw the floor where the main hoop goes through smile.gif

24th November 2006, 16:52
Just makes life a little easier for welding..

He's done a few of the Kames rallies over the years John. Might be worth a call or do you want me to ask him?

Ah, Colin Murchies Fiesta hiding under the Impreza.
Now how small a world is that !! That car was built and raced by Liam Wood of Glenburgie Subaru up in Forres, guess where I'm getting my shell from ?

25th November 2006, 22:42
Yes, that was Colin's.
Stuart used to do the prep on that car amongst others like Jon Burns 6R4 etc. (Stuart converted Jon's car to long wheelbase a number of years ago).

Sorry to hijack the thread. But do someone have pictures of fitting a rollcage (full or half) into a newage?
