Anders,
I won't know until middle of next week is going to be ready. I will keep you fully appraised. The engine is built, just waiting for Ahmed to map it and then Harvey to put it in the car...

Anticipated power: 500bhp / 400lbft (the torque reduction is to save the transmission! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif and it will have 370+lb ft all the way to 6500, with 500bhp being made at 7000 - should be "interesting"!

Stef, great you'll be showing up/off ( http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif ) as well. Will be delighted to meet you in person.

On second thought: if you will be wearing your bra, I will happily pretend not knowing you (I'm like bald, 5 foot 3...) http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

For the rest of you Ring-goers: there will be a record of 555 club members/tuners/scoob dealers at the Ring next weekend. This is really gonna be good ...

Theo [but keep it safe, will ya !]

PS: Harj: women ? What women ? http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

A message from a Swedish Anders http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif

Anders,

I think you can find some guidance to hotel at Bens page at www.nurburgring.org.uk (http://www.nurburgring.org.uk)

We (5 friends from Sweden) will be staying at Zur Burg

www.shellgeostar.com/shop/shopFrameset.asp?frameTarg=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ehote lguide%2Ecom%2Fnewcf%2Fshellgeostar%5Flang%5Findep %2F876%5F2%2Ecfm%3FPage%3DDetail%26lang%3D e%26Hotel%5FNr%3D175189

in the village this weekend. Rather expensive, service varies a lot, but we keep coming for reasons unknown to us all! Maybe because of the good location, big car park? Or maybe it is just a tradition?

I don't think there is any big event this weekend so you can probably find hotel rooms easily.

Anders the Swede says:Anders

PS. Don't spend too much time in the restaurant at Zur Burg. It is excellent for "after race beer" and "late nigth jägermeister race" but for good food, try "Pistenklause" (Italian food) or "Pit stop Café", all within 5 minutes walking from Zur Burg.
