I dont recall embarasing myself Terry. I just want to have fun, i dont have the time or money to be competitive against the big boys, but i could still enjoy the competition against the lower spec cars like yours, if it were to turn up this time. ;) :D

Phil keene driving the Powerstation/Litchfield Subaru type 25 Pro Car won the Final round of the Time attack series  Not just won the Class but was First overall beating an Ariel atom by nearly a second, The Norris car did have some serious noise issues :D :D

IMHO

There was some noise issuses which dampened the Day. I got black flagged in my second session 101db

Tony

Ps Terry and the others also did well in the Club challenge :D

Also caught some footage of the Super battle.

Need to stitch these two together somehow, but haven't worked how to do that yet (new phone)
Told Phil to "go have some fun in it"

bit of a disaster day for me personally, 2 sessions.....2 "offs" (beginning to make a habit of it ;) )

then my up pipe split so it was a no boost zone and as such i didnt run the final hot lap bit :( it suggests that i was down on power all day thoguh as you could hear it blowing a little anyway, this just properly finished it off.

Hey ho.

Paul spun out on the first corner of his warm up lap, i was there but didnt run, due to the cambelt idler retaining bolt sheering yesterday and killing the valves!

Good day, to a fasion, somewhat lacking in organisation and communication compared to the event at silverstone.

Ah, that's why you were on about having a bad couple of days :(

I did warn Paul about Craners, but forgot to mention how tricky Redgate can be on cold tyres...

Tim, sounds like you would be an indispensable asset in the role of "race strategy advisor" to Zen Performance ;)

Shouldn't that be 'race hindsight strategy advisor'?

Looks like more damage was done to Paul's car during the extraction proceedure than by the off!

Paul@Zen
3rd October 2006, 21:21
all the damage was coming out the gravel.
