Steve,

No I don't mind being sat on, it's all in a good cause.

How did your karting go after our meet, i would have come if Tracey hadn't been babysitting.

If you go again, give me a shout.

A group of us in work have been to the mini moto racing at Hullavington a few times and it's an absolute scream. They really are fast little things with much knee/trainer scrapping going on. You need to be fairly flexible to contourt yout legs and arms to actually get on the things(don't know how I do it)
We could have a laugh and arrange a go one friday night ? £8 gets you about 10 - 15 mins (very tiring) or we could do the pay and go at Portishead kart centre where £6 gets you 10 mins on a Sunday night 6pm to 9pm - enough for about 22 laps.
We'll talk about arranging something.

Steve.

Hi Tony

It would be great to see you. There are more old gits driving Scooby's than you'd think! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif
My car is standard apart from a Scoobysport backbox, so we don't all have STi's. Dave has a rather big exhaust but that's his problem!
Our resident old git, "Mad" Bob will be only too happy to discuss the war, banana rationing etc.

Sorry to disapoint you Nick , but that exhaust got blown apart by the anti-lag , all I got now is 3 inches http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif
Bobs exhaust is now sssooooo much bigger than mine and louder . I now prefer the quiter option http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif (must also be getting old)

Bob's is not a exhaust, it's a dustbin. Somewhere for large animals to keep out the of the rain.

I will be happy to sit in the corner of the pub chatting about old times. I also have a standard MY00. (Well it was 6 weeks ago)
You can see what I have to put up with, with these young whippersnappers they all have too much money to spend on their motors and show us old f@rts up. Talking of dogs I was thinking of bringing along my puppy.
Steve/
Jackie would love the puppy she could hold and cuddle it while I have a few pints.
Nick/
Funny you should mention that but I still have a few ration coupons from after the war about 1951-52
PAS/
As I have no cats they are hung in the garage, cats can crawl up the exhaust. A turn of the key and a blip of the throttle and they are fired out like a cannon ball.
Dave/
Donít let them take the p!ss just because you only have 3Ē.

Who is this Top Banana

I live about 70 miles away and out Sat night so it might be 1 oclock before I get there.
Are many scooby widows going as the wife tends to get a tad annoyed with car talk? If not my two teenagers will come to drool over what they cant insure.

Bob/
Cant quite remember rationing but I dont mind sitting in a Pub and while the young uns are out in the rain with no coats.

For the brave few who have tried to keep up with Bob on an Exmoor run, the nickname MadBob would be one of the more printable versions!

'Er indoors would be most welcome. I'm sure the other girlies would be very happy not to have to stand out in the cold looking at engines! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

>New to the meets?

In the Star Inn, drive right through the car park to the back - we have our own little private car park back there.
