Can't make it I'm afraid as my whole family are descending on me for Sunday lunch and I couldn't persuade them to come along http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

See you all at the next one.

My dragon’s mother is coming back to England from Portugal on Saturday http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif she only comes over about once a year, http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif and will be at my house on the Sunday for dinner. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif So I will be there with you filling my face at the Star. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif Thought my dragon could nag but this old bag has another 20 yrs experience. I would not want to leave my son at the mercy of her, so I will take him to my mothers or bring him along. Whatever I will be there. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Would be nice to meet your Navigator but if she has other plans then you can still have my donation to your charity.

Don`t forget your sponsorship form , I`d like to add some money to it .
Cheers Dave http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

The latest is i'm waiting for a guy who works in the Rover bodyshop to give me a quote. He has said he can knock the dents out fill the rest.

For those that didn't know, I pulled out from a parking space in a narrow road and caught the rear door and wing on the lorry that was parked in front. Doesn't look that bad, apart from the door handle being ripped out; but Central Bodyshop quoted me £1200

1st June 2000, 19:45
That quote jumped up a bit the last I heard it was about £400. But then I did warn you about Central Bodyshop.

Perhaps I should bring the mother fire breather to our meet to give you a taste of her tongue. She would love you lot and give you the full tongue thrashing like she gives to me. “Out driving around in powerful cars when you could be at home decorating the front room you know it has not been done this year. Why not buy an escort like me and then you could spend all that extra money on my daughter or the house.” My answer is “Yes why would I want to spend more money on my fat old dragon she gets enough already. I need the extra money for a new set of brakes”
Don’t worry I won’t bring her, Could not stand her being in my car.

4th June 2000, 20:53
Got a brand new Nicon camera with all the lences and bags and all that stuff. Had It 3 months and still not taken it out the box yet.

4th June 2000, 21:04

Is that a bit like a Nikon? http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

5th June 2000, 15:39
Don't know. Not looked inside the box yet. Mind you the box could be empty http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

5th June 2000, 15:41
Just looked inside the box there is a camera there is says F60 Kit. Any good or just a cheap thing?

5th June 2000, 17:52
A perfectly acceptable camera Bob. Easy to use & assuming that you have a Nikon lens... will give excellent results. Worth about £300 depending on the lens. You can wear your Nikon with pride! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

5th June 2000, 18:23
Just love these Jap things.
