I am thinking of organising a continental xmas shopping trip to Belgium with the SIR club http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif

Overnight stay and a great meal included with an "Evil Bevel" mystery tour thrown in http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif

Any takers?

Anders,

Depending on when, we'd be game for this. (We could re-live the Belgium Bank Holiday meet).

Anders,

Any idea of dates yet? Could do with booking the ferry/seacat crossing a.s.a.p. what with it being Xmas and all (to get the best deals).

Please can we go by train for my stomachs sake!

http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif

Crying tears as big as october gabbages already http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

I can cope with ferry as long someone talks to me for the whole duration of the crossing.

I will want to use the tunnel as my stomach is nearly as weak as Ronnie's! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif

OK, for everyones guide, fares on Eurotunnel :
Saturday day-trip is 69
Sunday day-trip is 47
A standard return (say Friday thru Sunday) is 217 - ouch!
I'm all for the train also, it's such an easy way to travel http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif .
Last Belgium meet I left the restuarant at 8.30 local time and was home in Essex by 11pm - lovely!
Cheers

Ronnie,

Are you a strong swimmer?

RonnieH

O.k. I do the boat thing.

But do you all remember the A-Team http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif (hey i am young..this was my hayday!). Well a certain Mr-T would never fly, and Murdoch used to give him this potion to make him go to sleep. If I use that I will be laughing. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Or I just get K9'd on the boat and sleep like a baby and let nat drive http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Second thoughts I will just put up with the boat. I like my clutch http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/tongue.gif

LOL

Ill be on the boat....

When we did Belgium, the boat was 97 vs 247 for the train http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif

The break in the journey ois nice too.

James,

You won't have to sail alone - we'll be fellow sailors!

EuroTunnel - if you get the last train out on a Friday night (2321) and a late one back on Sunday night (2251), comes to 157.00 - how's that then? Would assume we would need to book this soon though being Xmas and all...

Cheers to Dom on this one http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

SeaFrance - last ferry @2245 on Friday night, return @2330 on Sunday night, comes to 97!

I'll take credit for this one http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Vasectomy? http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif
Well I can do Decemeber but probably can't do November http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif , particularly with a mystery Donington track event being lined up - allegedly - in November! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Anders, my passenger seat is always available to you in December mate!
