Bit early(?) I know, but wondered if anyone would fancy this:

"The biggest display in the South East is reflected in the Castle moat. Gates open at 5pm, extra entertainment from 5.30pm, with the display scheduled for 7.30pm. Advanced tickets available from the Box Office from 1st October Tel: +44(0)1622 8880008, and also available on the night."

Thought we could all meet up somewhere beforehand and have a drive down.

If interested, pls reply.

Colin,

If there's enough interest in the next couple of days, could send out some flyers via snail mail?

Excellent idea Muttley,

I'm definately up for it, and the earlier lunch/beer meet. Scoob convey to leeds castle-oh yes. Last year it rained slightly and just about everything got stuck in the very muddy car park except the scoobs!!! Unfortunately I was poorly equipped with a group of friends in a RWD massively weighed down Ford Transit people carrier...won't be making that mistake again!! Still it was good fun mucking in and helping push all the other cars out....

Hi Guys & Gals,

Thought we could meet at the Esso Garage in Pratts Bottom on the A21 at around 1230, leaving 1245(ish).

Map: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X=547250&Y=162750&arrow=Y

Then go for lunch at The Woodman in Ide Hill(they do great food - a few of us have already checked it out!).

Map: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X=551250&Y=155250&zoom=2

Then leave for Leeds Castle after we're well fed, don't mind what time.

What say you guys?

I would advise to pre-book now if you want a car park pass - priority entrance/guaranteed parking on the night.

Got our tickets this morning - I'm getting excited now!!
