I can't remember exactly when the Scooby meeting at The Links pub (opposite Fleet's train station) is happening. I think it's scheduled for 8th April, can someone confirm?

I do remember it was supposed to be at 2pm on a Saturday.

I can confirm that a Scooby day is going ahead on Saturday April 8th at the Links pub in Fleet - directly opposite the Station.

The meet is at 2pm and has been organised by non-Scoobynet/22b Ric.

A number of us (Tony, Jason, Penni, Me, Skyline Upton) are going early to get some lunch.

See you there,

R

Thanks guys

It was a good afternoon - even better with the superb weather. It was my first event -was I the only girl there? I thought Penni was coming - or did I miss her? Would like to have said hello.

Anyway, look forward to the next one. Do you hold evening meets?

Jo (MY95 WRX silver)

ps. which car was voted the best?

There were about 30 cars passing through all told.

Oddly the 'organiser' who is off-board did not have his car - or his co-organiser for that matter. However, turned out to be genuine and original concerns were waylaid.

In terms of some of your answers,

Yes we have had some very well attended evening meetings in Fleet, the last one had well over 30 people and over twenty-five cars even tho it was pitch black.

Sadly, Penni is back from Canada, but she couldn't make it - next time hopefully.

The RB5 won best car - it'll keep Jonathan happy (although it wasn't his car http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif) Can't see why tho', although we weren't allowed to vote for the 22bs.

I secretly suspect the votes were for my Cool Grey STI as between voting starting and finishing I swapped parking spaces with the RB5 http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

Although I didn't organise this one I will organise another Fleet event soon, once the board is up to speed.

Cheers,

Rannoch

Anders,
Thanks mate. Due to the fantastic noises your car makes Nicki wants to put our warranty at risk and put on a louder back-box. She says that if she wanted a car that sounded like a Micra she'd have bought one.
LOL,
Charles

Charles; Russ Martins' UK 22B has Leda C, AP brakes and a full exhaust system including headers.

This did not effect his warrantee when it came to his engine rebuild! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif

Just don't chip it!

I will be interested in IM position regarding the 97 Ron fuel and the possibility of using a link ECU mapped for 97Ron http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Fun day - even managed a slight tan (seeing as I was first there it's not surprising) http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

Count me in for future meets - perhaps we could combine a bit of driving as well http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif

Now where can I get a RB5?? http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Rich.

There I was just driving back home having just picked up my little lad from his mates house, when he blurts out coooooooooooool. (at the age of nine, he can spot any impreza at a thousand yards in the dark.)Wondering what he is making reference to, I look across to see fifteen or so Impreza's shining brightly in the brilliant sunshine.

Needless to say I went to say hello, unfortunately I could not stay long but you've got my number Rick, so let me know when the next one is to be organised, I will definately will be there.

Good location
Well organised
Great Weather

Black & Gold WRX

By the way, I've just set light to the little folder on this thread.

http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif It's still burning...

Nice day, just what I needed to start blowing my stinking cold away, hope no one caught it off me, almost all gone now http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif.

Need more mods, want louder exhaust, must get the door fixed too...
