Thats assuming the 96" plasma screen has arrived now http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hi All,

I've been following the threads on both the Suffolk meets, as I was interested in attending.

Not too sure whether I would be welcome as I am a "Female Scooby Owner". There seemed to be an aversion to "wives" for the last meet.

I could always change my name to "Harry" and wear a token moustache if that makes me more acceptable!

Please let me know how the land lies.

Of course you're welcome http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

Its just that (for me) my wife is not a petrolhead & in fact thinks I am a complete & utter saddy even comtemplating scooby meets. She rolls her eyes when I wave at other scoobs & goes to Bluewater to make up (& more http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/eek.gif ) when I go on a "scooby" outing/track day http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif

(She doesn't know about the mods tho' http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif )

The more the merrier http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif

Aye, come along

the problem with wives is, once they have heard about A(ir filters), B(rakes), C(olour coding), D(ump valves), they decide its time to go home! thats before E(xhausts) ......

Hi all,

Glad to hear that I'm allowed to come to the next meet!!

We actually know another couple with a scooby who may want to come too.

Both Sal(my friend who owns a scooby & also a girl!!) and I are quite used to car meets as we go to the Suffolk& Norfolk TVR meet every month.

Looking forward to meeting you all and your cars. Saturday afternoon sounds good.

Hi Leigh

Looking forward to meeting up in the Scooby, (Sals my other half) might bring the Tiv as well for a bit of fun.

The TVR club meets at the Sorrell Horse pub at Barham, near Claydon (about 3 miles from A14/A140 junction), every 3rd Sunday lunchtime.

Which Saturday for the Scoob meet?

Wossapnin then ????
Are Suffolk Scoob meetings dying a death ??
How about an interim meet until Reidy gets sorted ? If peeps like curries, my local specialises in them - (not a lot else to eat tho !) Chevington, 6 miles S of Bury St Eds. Open Sat lunchtimes. Carpark + road with fast yump - also super back road to Newmarket /A14.
