View Full Version : Knockhill, Saturday 17th March

29th January 2001, 16:20
Just to let you know I now have a booking form for the Knockhill event on the 17th March. We have the track booked from 1pm to 5pm, and the cost will be 50 per car. We'll be running an open pit format as usual, which gives as much track time as you wish within the 4 hours available.

Places are limited, and a booking form has been sent to those who replied to earlier messages. If you are interested in taking part, then please drop me an e-mail using john@sidc.co.uk , and I'll forward one onto you. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis for cheques received.

If there is sufficient interest, then we'll run a short beginners/ladies/partners session after the warm-up laps have been completed.

Best Regards

This event is now fully subscribed, so anyone wanting a place will need to go onto the reserve list.

I have arranged for the lads from "Wheels Around" to bring their support truck to the track day on the 17th. This is because I will need new tyres to get me home after the event!

If you need slicks or part worn tyres for the track or even some new tyres to get you home safe and legal then give Ronnie a call on 01764 662897.

No connections blah blah................

I got a great deal on 4 new P Zeros!!!

See you all soon

Just a reminder to let you know that this is event is still going ahead on Saturday, with the track open from 1pm to 5pm.

We will be raising money for Comic Relief at the event, and every driver will be sporting a Red Nose either on their car or helmet! In addition to this, anyone getting passenger laps will be asked to make a donation to Comic Relief (optional of course) when they sign the indemnity form, and/or when they go out with a driver for a few laps around the circuit.

As well as having a fun safe event, we can hopefully raise a few hundred pounds for a very worthy cause at the same time.
See you all on Saturday

PS Weather forecast is still looking wet.
