Anyone have experiences with them. I just ordered the full 3" turbo back GT exhaust for MY02 WRX(US) in stainless. The price was just to good to pass on, $980(USD) shipped.

I have a very early one fitted to my 93 WRX its looks like this now:

The corrosion issue of early systems shouldn't be a problem in the US i would have thought.

That dosent look to bad. I got the stainless units, but will have them HPCd as well. I will also heat wrap them.

Clarey, are you sure the pipe featured in your pic is a BPM downpipe ? Looks kinda small (2.5 inch prototype or trick photography). I run a HPC coated unit on my Japan spec Ver 4 for over a year now and in Brunei with 80% humidity, the pipe has stood up to the punishment well. Other than cuts and scratches to remind me never to trust the mechanics who handled them, the BPM downpipe is an excellent piece both visually and audibly.

Oh Ken, Heat Wrap and HPC coatings DO NOT mix. HPC needs to "breathe" and if you heat wrap the pipe, you choke the "active" properties of HPC and the end result would be a very corroded pipe, much worse than that pictured here http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
