Howdy, long time no post.

i have, for some time now, been wondering exactly what the air induction type thing (tech term for you http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif) is on the blackbeast.

Here is a pic of the thing:

The filter is know is a Super Flow because I have replaced it.

What I want to know is;

Is It an induction kit or is it just a air filter replacement, ala fitting a blitz filter?

It does not look like the super power flow kit or the racing induction kit I have seen in various pictures.

thanks for any info

HKS filter, just like the one that was stolen when my car was entrusted to Daventry types http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif

Now I have an HKS induction kit http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif

It looks like a DIY induction kit Mark.
As long as they've done away with the airbox and put a 'cone' filter(like ure HKS one) on you can tell everyone you have an 'induction kit'
Thats what gives it the 'suck and blow' noises as turbo spools up and down, as compared to an airbox equipped car (standard induction set-up - airbox and panel filter) which insulates the noise alot.

Markus,

Don't worry mate, you have the genuine article there. (Sorry chuck! http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif )

That is a complete "HKS Super Power Flow" Induction Kit for cars up to MY97. I had one of these on my 96WRX. You can purchase replacement elements for it seperate to the kit, which is nice. IIRC, Bob Rawle ran this kit on his previous car to.

No need to apologise Moray, I can live with the shame of not being able to tell a pucker kit from a home made job LOL
