Spent a couple of hours swapping the old vf23 for mr Gareth's 304 tonight (1 hour on a ferkin nut that decided to NOT go my way :mad http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif, and I've just been out to tweak the link a wee bit.

I should mention that snow is pouring down.. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

We're talking issues NOT getting wheelspin in 4th when boost comes on. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I like it...and the noise it makes when spooling...very http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif.

All in all, it spools up a couple of hundred rpm's sooner than a stock 23, boost control seems alot better, and power has gone up (my adjustments to the fuel map tells me this http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif ).

/a very happy turnip

...oh...with the iON 4-1 header/uppipe I get 1 bar at 3200-3300 rpm.

Jerry, only by 3200/3300? With the 304 on my car, the HKS headers, one of my own up pipes and an Aigin map http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif I was getting 1 bar at 3000, and my 1.25 bar peak from 3300 round to the red line http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/tongue.gif

As I once did http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/frown.gif

...ehrm...with wheelspin mate. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif I reckon the load isn't quite what it should be - I'll have to wait until spring to really get it spot on. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Besides, the HKS headers are way puny compared to the iON one, and afaik...I know mine harms spool up characteristics for middle/topend gains - but it's worth it. http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

So... http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/tongue.gif http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif and http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Errr...don't think so, that is unless you've been accross to England in the last two weeks and knicked it!

It's for sale now, but with a car attached http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/wink.gif

Ah...I heard your "nickname" when he bought it, maybe someone was referring to you running one.
