My P1 is totally standard and I would like to know what kind of gains I can expect from changing the centre, back and downpipe.

Does anyone have any recommendation for which system to go for?
I am considering a Blitz\ss combo

Go to Scooby world for the Hayward and Scott down pipe.

This is a fantastic upgrade http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

HKS mid and back box compliment this piece of kit very well.

Don't forget a free flow filter, I prefer KHS racing suction kit myself http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/cool.gif

Ramair and ITG were not as good as they are flat panel, whilst you are at it remove the resonator box from the offside wing http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks for that Anders.

I've been told there is a sensor in the downpipe & after i replaced the d/p I will need to have the car retuned. Is this true?

No, the sensor is still used in the de-cat down pipe, and your car will not need any other changes, I had this system fitted to my P1.

dont fit the hks racing suction to the P1!!!!!!

the phase two engine uses the more fragile later maf sensor. I know of three that died immediately after fitting this kit. The car then goes into limp home mode and a new maf is about 300 and difficult to get under warranty.

agree with anders re downpipe. The hayward and scott design has been working well for years now and is available through scoobyworld apparently. I would go with one of those.

Main gains come from downpipe and not from back box!

Air filter wise, consider a K and N. Remember that the principle goal of the filter is to filter. Those that release more power do so at the expense of filtration which is why the hks costs you maf sensors.
