View Full Version : Header pipes

I've managed to find myself the proud owner of an HKS manifold, and what a delightful looking product it is as well http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/smile.gif - I hadn't intended to purchase it, it got included in a shipment by accident after some confusion. Anyway I intend to change all of the exhaust system to a complete Magnex except the standard CAT, basically because I can't be bothered with re-fitting it everytime the MOT's due and I'd sooner spend the money on the 7 and track days.

My question is, are there any benefits to changing the header pipes when I'm using the standard CAT ?. I'm using a LINK ECU so presumably some tweaks can be applied to accomodate the change in characteristics.

I've changed to the Magnex from the standard system to improve the exhaust note.

Oh yes and I've paid for the HKS it wasn't a freebie http://bbs.22b.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif
