planning in fitting 6 speed to my ver 4 classic
6 speed prop shaft - can i use an automatic version as reading its the same shaft, and won't interfere with 6 speed linkage
5 speed clutch in 6 speed box - told i can use flywheel, clutch, clutch arm and starter with 6 speed box
canm i use 5 speed gearbox cradle or do i need to use 6 speed gearbox cradle
can anyone advise me
was terzo neil here but locked out of account due to email change
Yes you can use an auto prop.
Yes you can use your complete 5 speed clutch... ( although you may still need the 6 speed fork, can't remember )
If you are using a 5 speed flywheel and clutch, the 5 speed starter will be fine.
Cradle is same for both.

does the auto propshaft have to be from a turbo model, all can find at moment is a non turbo propshaft

You'd need a classic auto shaft to fit a classic car or you'll need to modify a shaft.
I think the auto box is pretty much same for n/a or turbo, but cannot confirm that. Subaru are pretty good in not changing too many things.

Ok...wasnt sure on the 01+ models having the same shaft...I thought their centre bearing was in a slightly different spot or something.
