    Smile 2001 WRX with EJ22T 2.5l Engine PPG 400/400

    https://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...engine/7852062

Thanks for looking. STi Performance and a bit more.

Here is my car of 14 years ownership, most mods and big build items carried out mainly by Paul at Zen and then Richard.
Not getting the time to appreciate it now, so testing the water.
Not all spec is listed, but hopefully the level is right for a 2.5 litre engine based on a EJ22T block.
    Includes private plate.

I would say its a little edgy for a daily driver due to DH22 cams and the twin plate clutch, but each to their own! )
Price is 10,500 o.n.o. in case Pistonheads advert doesn't link...

    You must know Neil Mac.

That's a nice spec too. I'd love that engine...

Hey Floyd, yeah I know Neil!
He's had some great cars, I remember the Lotus Sunbeam here, oh and a little Starlet Glanza we used to go buzzing around Hakone in.

Engine just wants to go all the time. Sounds fantastic.

22B Engine based EJ22T with top hat liners, 100mm pistons and stroked to 2.5l.
Fully forged built engine with billet crank, PAR rods, Cosworth pistons, 14mm head stud conversion, uprated oil pump, DH22 cams, vernier cam pulleys, billet valves, double sprung heads.
Baffled sump, remote oil cooler, FMIC and breather system.
Autronic Engine management (twin maps) with Launch control enabled.
SBR GT12 roller bearing turbo, 800cc injectors, anti-swirl spec C fuel system with Roger clark pump. Roger clark induction kit, Perrin bits. Milltek full CAT system, Lateral Headers.
PPG helical 5spd box, Twin Plate clutch & Carbon Prop
AP Fr brakes, Brembo rear, Team Dynamics Pro 1.2 Wheels
KW suspension, Whiteline sway bars and links.
Private Plate, Defis, upgraded stereo and more, too many items to list.

Always garaged and rarely used over the last few years, I have owned this car since 2003 and spent a fortune developing it to the spec today. All engine and gear box work carried out by Zen Performance, resulting in a very useable 400bhp (dyno chart) power output, peak pressure around 1.7bar, and in capable hands will most certainly delight.

A little raw in places (twin plate clutch takes some getting used to with the lairy cams) but with perseverance will certainly reward. Room to achieve more; a turbo change and remap would push over 500bhp from the Engine.

It has a few marks/scratches for its age, but no rust on the arches and body work is generally good down to being well kept in a garage.

I'm selling due to other interests and activities occupying my time.
It would return a much higher amount if broken for parts, but thats not for me.

Just serviced by Roger Clark Motorsport with cam-belt and tensioner done, new FR Discs, all fluids changed and ready to go.

I've not sold a car in years, so apologies if i have not included some information. Pop me a message and I'll see if I can answer it.

MOT is end Apr '19. mileage not likely to rise significantly.

    Thanks for reading.
