Too many of the events too far south to make it viable for me.

Is indeed, I worked long and hard with Darin to convince him to continue this year but we are on the edge of losing this series. Tbh this is more down to the dwindling evo numbers than ourselves. I still think there is a good chance Combe will happen, fingers crossed.

Car is currently scattered across my garage floor or I would have. Out this season unfortunately.

If it's any consolation the MSA sprints are struggling nowadays. Last couple I did a few weeks ago had 27 and 31 entries
Three years ago we had 80 plus cars across all classes.
I think the whole scene is fading away .

Paul, I think Debden and North Weald (arguably the least attractive airfield venues in the SE) will be the first to struggle, especially in March and April. Hethel had 65 in April IIRC, Goodwood similar and Gurston and Harewood had reserve lists.

I agree numbers are less, hopefully the new standard production classes will attract new blood.

Although my priorities lie elsewhere, I sincerely wish the 22B Sprint series continues.
MSA Class Records Pembrey, MIRA, Llandow, Silverstone Stowe - class 1C, Goodwood - class 3, Hethel, Snetterton, Lydden Hill - class A6
FTDs North Weald - September 2017, Simon Roe Memorial - May 2015, Crystal Palace - 26th May 2014, North Weald - March 2013

As i posted on FB, i'm just not going to have time to get the car back together for this date. Too many things that need to be done and work pressures mean i cant commit the time to do it.
Its a double kick in the nuts for me as i love Combe and want to be there driving but i just don't see it happening.

    Agreed

Race wear ...helmets..seat belts all have to be in date for majority of classes and now Hans devices for modified classes.
MSA are not helping the grass roots clubman racer.
Maybe this will help increase the 22b MLR series or the Javelin..
