we have now opened up the day with a rwyb event alongside scoobyshootout, as it doesnt look like we have enough scoobs entered in time to keep it subaru only. if anyone does wish to run /enter, please send in the form asap off the totb website.
we will run bracket classes on the 1/4m with trophies, as per other rwyb there, and of course the scoobyshootout drag finals will be the finale of the event as usual from 4pm. Additional prizes have been sponsored now for the fastest Scoobs on the day.

i have also organised a mid-day head to head with Keith Cowies R32 GTR and Tims Top Secret Drag R, which should be ace!

please pass on the details to anyone with a quick car (scooby or otherwise)
many thanks
chris

ohhhhhh, hate the bikes...

Paul@Zen

The bikes would be okay, except they just waltz straight to queue all day. It's not acceptable IMHO. Why they can be run in blocks like they do at Santa pod, I will never know.

Taken from Chris' post on SN
"support vehicles- people need to email us direct for a pass to pitlane for a support car, stating who its for/address and car you are with. you'll need to pay entry on the gate."

Do we have support vehicle volunters for the few from here running? smile.gif

Steven
4th May 2005, 19:28
I have already emailed Chris to ask if i can get in as a support vehicle and i will take my usual quantity of tools, jacks etc.

These tools and my help will be available to anyone on here who asks on the day.

Also going to take a 3 berth Marquee thing for cover, relaxation etc. Might even take the gas BBQ too :D

I'm going to compete.

It's a great laugh, and if it breaks/needs help, then I couldnt have a better safety net than you lot and the AA :D

That was on the sticky dunlops nicely warmed up, 24 psi in them and with the diff lock fully on :D

I think the only tyre getting traction was the front right due to the wastegate pipe drying its immediate path ;)

I can see now why you guys are slower with these GT35's, not too controllable are they really !

will the winner really be needing a remap?

it is transferrable should the winner not require a remap!!

Chris.. do we really need to tax the car???

Can you call me ASAP on 07788 577836.

If so then Ill be RWYB only, as I havent taxed the car in a while, it is road legal though.. hence MOT, and A valid cover note smile.gif
